I spent a whole night looking at the stars in New Mexico; Dry air and high elevation make you feel that you can almost reach out and touch the stars.
What I love about working with hot wax/encaustic painting is the multitude of layers created. These layers remind me of the dimensions of story and memory we each hold about a place.
