Magnolia Valley Forge Park, PA

I have been called to have a Conversation with an Ancient One,  purple Magnolia tree.
She first called me when I was walking a trail in Valley Forge Park. The following day I was invited to made a flower essence with her.
Next, I started a drawing conversation with her. 

Starting to draw with her was like starting a new relationship, tentative marks at first, then a back and forth, then long discussions. Quite a contrast to Honey brook Farm in NJ, where I had been drawing with it for a year. Magnolia and I needed to start from the beginning and build trust and a language together.

I often walk to Magnolia, this is the first being that I live close enough to that I can visit with, without drawing.
A few months after meeting each other, can I tell you I am in love with her,  I was called to enter into a drawing conversation.  She told me “ I bring the Stars down to the Earth at night, so that all creators may feel the love and joy from above.  At night I bring the Stars to the Earth so that all may feel their wonder. At night I bring the Stars to the Earth so that we all may survive” 

Another day I was drawing with Magnolia she told me “ The universe is being born from my center” Lay under my canopy and let the Stars enter you”
