Winter Solstice:, Valley Forge National Park 2019

Winter Solstice is the shortest day and the longest night. It was on the eve of Winter Solstice that the drawing was created.
I was in the meadow at Valley Forge Park as the sun started setting. The energy of the Land was so active, the opposite of what I thought it should be on the quietest and darkest time of year, that I had to draw it.
