During 2017, I committed to doing a drawing a day. They started as pencil drawings, then moved to collage, and towards the end of the year, they moved into 3-D drawings. Sometimes, the drawings were about what I felt, and other times, they were in response to the land.
I also did a lot of traveling and camping in 2017 and spent a lot of time outside. These four drawings are from the Drawing a Day project.

All 365 drawings used mixed media material on 7 x 7” Shizen cotton rag paper.
