It gets tricky here. I'm attached to the first two folios: I like them . I don't want to ruin them or the book. Cause I know I will abandon the project if I mess it up.
So I waited to see what wants to show up next. Instead of thinking about what should be the next page.
Over the past few weeks a recurring image keep popping into my mind. An image of the a tree horizon in Valley Forge park.
I started to imagine a light pencil drawing of a thin line of trees going across the page. And that is how I stared this image.
Sometimes I will start with an idea and for a while I’ll hold tight to the outcome, but when I notice I’m getting into “right” I have to stop or surrender to what feels right- and remember that this is a co-creation.
Here the story becomes tangential: more about feeling than knowing.
Tree being exist in a different space realm than us so why would the story be linear….
