Conversations with Land, in encaustic medium. I started to explore wax and marks when the temperature outside became too cold to work directly outdoors. In preparation I walk the Land and let the energy of the space fill me up. I take tons of photographs and video so when I get back to my studio I can allow the Land to be remembered in my BodyMindSpirit, which brings me back to the energy of that place and then I ask the Land to speak to me with marks.
