Stretched too thin. The more I spent time with his drawing, I realized that the clouds were blue and the sky was silver not blue. Everything was opposite as normally perceived. Then the black orbs up showed up on the silver tape. I still wasn’t any closer to understanding the drawing. Three days later as I look at it the phrase that popped into my head was stretched too thin’. Feeling stretched too thin to be the optimist. Stretched too thin to keep dreaming the world in a new way. That’s not normally like me but that’s what showed up in this drawing.
